Amanda Altamirano, a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Central Florida. is inviting technical communicators to participate in research that gathers their opinions and experiences working in the software industry.
The purpose of this research is:
- To find out about technical communicators’ perceptions and experiences specific to bias in the software workplace,
- To figure out if these perceptions and experiences impact their ability to author and manage technical software documentation.
- To determine whether a diagram can help reduce biases in technical documentation.
